KFC Gamified Engagement

We brought KFC's Taste Expedition campaign to life with an interactive, scroll-based microsite experience that blended storytelling and gamification. At the heart of it was our Beyond The Sea scrollable banner challenge, where users named their virtual boats and scrolled 2 000km across ocean-themed visuals, unlocking rewards along the way.

Our platform featured:

  • A dynamic microsite with a welcome page, sign-up form, and hero film
  • Algorithm-driven scrolling mechanics mapped to real-world distance
  • Instant rewards, power-ups, and a grand prize draw based on scroll speed
  • Full digital execution, from concept and design to implementation and engagement tracking

The result? Over 92 000 hours of active engagement, nearly 6 000 entries, and more than 70% of participants signing up for further brand communication.
